Gucci Outlet – Beautiful Cars of the Last 50 Years

We often talk about beautiful cars, but when it comes to a vehicle that really epitomises beauty that’s something else. There is a selection of cars from the last fifty years that do more than othersto get the message across that a motor can also be a work of art. These are some examples from that rare batch.

It would be ludicrous to do a
Gucci Outlet list without the Ferrari 250 GTO. This one only just makes the list, as the first model came out in 1962. It’s something of a legend even amongst the elite of Ferrari, as is perhaps the most beautiful car ever made. Enzo Ferrari stipulated that they would only be made if he approved of the buyer, and his stringent standard meant only 39 were made. They cost $18000, and this is in sixties prices, and the GTO label was then a new term to most people. It stands for the beautiful sounding Gran Turismo Omologata.

For a car that was ahead of its time by miles, and still looks like a serious piece of gorgeous tech today, the Lamborghini Miura is unbeatable. First released in 1966, it made full use of the appeal of space age engineering. These were ambitious times for designers, with the moon ready to be conquered, and nuclear war as a day to day possibility. While in England we enjoyed the classiness of the E type Jaguar, and the jaw dropping sexiness of the Aston Martin DB 5, this thing was ready to take to the stars. If you look at Lamborghini models today you can see that they all pay homage to this beast.

A good way to look for an argument about beauty with cars is to put forward the Lancia Stratos HF. It’s Italian made, like the two aforementioned sex symbols, but this is a less obvious brother. If they were in a family, this is the one that wouldn’t get invited to the posh parties. And yet, there’s something rakishly undeniable about its charm. The HF, by the way, is for High Fidelity.

And in case you were wondering where all the sleek bonneted cars have gone, look no further than
Gucci Sale the TVR motors company, particularly the Griffith. This seemingly classic design was actually given life in 1991, and shows that there are still some more recent standout gems in the British motor industry.
